Ribbon factory how to evaluate the color fastness to ribbon?

The color fastness is generally evaluated by visual evaluation method, that is, gray sample card is used as the standard sample. Under certain lighting and environmental conditions, human eyes are used to compare gray card and sample, so as to determine the original color change of the sample and the color gradation of white cloth. The grey card (discoloration and stain respectively) has five fastness grades, namely 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1. Level 5 is the best and level 1 is the worst. Half grade is added in every two grades, namely 4, 5, 3, 4, 2, 3, 1, 2. Therefore, the grey card we use everyday is grade 5 and grade 9, and the result of color fastness evaluation is one of 9 grades. If a ribbon product  color fastness does not meet the standard level, then the ribbon product is not qualified.

In various color fastness, at present the most commonly used color fastness are rubbing fastness, perspiration fastness, washing fastness, light fastness, water immersion fastness, scrub fastness, climate fastness and so on. In real life, mainly according to the final use of products to determine the assessment of which items, including sweat stain resistance, resistance to dry abrasion, resistance to water immersion color fastness is the basic safety technical specifications for textiles requirements, all dyed textiles should be assessed.
